The NYPD Soccer Team participated in a charity tournament in Jackson, New Jersey benefiting missing and exploited children. The purpose was to raide funds for education and awareness while playing competitive soccer. Amongst the teams that participated were the NYPD Soccer Team, NY Fire Dept Soccer, NJ Police, Jackson NJ Police, South Jersey Police, Philadelphia PD, and a Suffolk/Nassau Cop team. NYPD went undefeated dominating play leading to the finals. The Championship game was a hard fought draw until the penalty shoot out phase. Tim Kelch the NYPD Keeper dominated the tournament allowing only one goal. Going into PKs Tim continued the streak with NY's finest coming away ats the Tri-States Best Police Soccer Team. The Team trophy was presented to the team by Jackson Townships Mayor. The team is holding open tryouts please contact the Manager Ron Mejia.

 
 

NEW YORK POLICE AND FIRE GAMES:

NYPD Soccer once again headed to Albany to compete in the 
Police and Fire Olympic Games. The squad has had an 
unprecedented level of success in Albany. This year NYPD 
continued this trend with a Silver placing at the Police and
Fire Games.
